Mama Aziza is a 26-year-old single mother with 6 children in her household. 2 of her own, Daudi, 4 and Rachel, 1 and 4 nieces and nephews, Aneth, 10, Fatuma, 7, Amida, 6 and Abdul, 2. Aziza came to Monduli after her sister passed away to help support the family.
Amida is handicapped and requires special care. Although she is unable to talk or walk, she is a special personality that can have you laughing within five minutes of meeting her.
This is an incredible family that desperately needs our help. When we first met Mama Aziza and her family, their mud and stick home was collapsing. This past July our friends from the NGO The House that Zac Built have finished constructing a new, sturdy, concrete home for Mama Aziza and her family.
